ClickUp WhatsApp setup

Whatsync connects a team WhatsApp account to a ClickUp workspace. Start in the dashboard, connect ClickUp, pair WhatsApp, then choose which chats should sync into ClickUp tasks and comments.

Expected setup flow

1. Sign in and open the dashboard.
2. Connect a ClickUp workspace through OAuth.
3. Select the target Space, Folder, or List for synced work.
4. Pair the WhatsApp session used by the team.
5. Choose chats, groups, privacy mode, and sync direction.
6. Send a test message before enabling ongoing sync.

Sync model

The first production sync target is ClickUp tasks and task comments. Whatsync should only sync chats and groups selected by the workspace administrator. Metadata-only mode can avoid writing full message body text into ClickUp when you need tighter privacy controls.

Developer access

After setup, use the dashboard MCP Setup card to copy your bearer token. The same token powers MCP tools and the Send API.
